**Alexandria, LA to Host 12 Nights of Christmas Winter Fête**
The City of Alexandria, Louisiana, will host the Alex Winter Fête from December 5th to 7th, 2024. This event will take place downtown and is designed to be a free, family-friendly festival celebrating the holiday season.
The Winter Fête will feature an outdoor skating rink, fireworks displays over the Red River, and a dedicated area for children called Jolly Junction, which will include various activities. Attendees can expect live entertainment, including performances by stilt walkers and fire breathers, as well as musical acts.
Local vendors will be showcasing their goods, and a variety of festival food will be available for attendees to enjoy. The event will kick off with a traditional tree lighting ceremony and Santa's grand arrival at Santa's Village.
