Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY is ranked No. 3 among small liberal arts colleges for producing Peace Corps volunteers. The college has eight alumni currently serving around the world. In a few weeks, three more volunteers from the Class of 2025, Robert Clyde, Aiden Greiff, and Justin Rosa, will join the ranks in Paraguay, Senegal, and the Dominican Republic respectively.

President Mark D. Gearan, who served as the 14th Director of the Peace Corps, said the recognition reflects the commitment of the students to making a positive impact globally. Additionally, the college recently highlighted last year’s commencement speaker, Carol Spahn L.H.D. ’24, who was the 21st Director of the Peace Corps.
