Volusia County Schools has announced updates regarding optional student device insurance for K-12 students. Invoices for this insurance are now available in the Parent Portal, starting from August 12, 2024, and will automatically be deleted on September 11, 2024.

Families with middle and high school students can purchase insurance until September 30, 2024, through the Purchase & Pay feature. Instructions for making payments are provided online.

Students who qualify for income-based services have been enrolled in the insurance program at no cost. Families can check their eligibility for free coverage using the provided procedures.

For additional information about the device insurance plan, families can visit the Volusia County Schools website at www.vcsedu.org/portals. They can also contact their school's bookkeeper for further assistance.
