Volusia County Schools have announced important dates regarding the school schedule. On Monday, October 14, there will be a Teacher Duty Day, and students will have a holiday, meaning there will be no school on that day. On Tuesday, October 15, schools will reopen for all students.

Additionally, Wednesday, October 16, will be an early release day. All schools in the Volusia County School District have been checked and cleared following Hurricane Milton, and faculty and staff will return to work on October 14.

The district has also noted that it is mindful of those still affected by the hurricane and encourages community support during this time. For any further questions or concerns, parents and guardians are advised to reach out to their respective schools for assistance.
