The City of Daytona Beach has announced that building permit and inspection fees will be waived for commercial and residential property projects until March 1, 2025. This initiative is aimed at encouraging renovations and construction within the community. Eligible projects include new construction, interior renovations, roof replacements, installation of new fences, doors, windows, driveways, and air conditioning units.

Individuals interested in applying for permits can do so online at the provided link, or they can visit the Permits and Licensing office located at City Hall, 301 S. Ridgewood Ave.
