Due to the storm, the City of Daytona Beach has announced changes to the garbage collection schedule. Residential garbage typically collected on Thursday will instead be picked up on Friday. In addition, Friday's regular collection will now occur on Saturday. All recycling that is normally collected on Thursday and Friday will be postponed until next week. Residents are advised to prepare accordingly.
