On August 22, 2023, the Daytona Beach Police Department announced that 8-year-old Riley Murphy has been found safe. The department expressed gratitude to the community for their assistance in spreading the word and providing tips during the search.

Riley was reported missing earlier that day and was last seen at 921 E Millard Ct. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing an orange shirt with dinosaurs and white pants also featuring dinosaurs.

Authorities are encouraging anyone with information about the incident to reach out to law enforcement.
