Volusia County Schools have announced the introduction of new recess boxes for elementary schools, designed to enhance playtime for students. The initiative was made possible through the generosity of Gib Dannehower, General Manager of Daytona TOYOTA and DeLand KIA.

Each recess box is equipped with starter equipment and toys, aimed at making playtime more enjoyable for students and easier for teachers to organize activities. The excitement was evident as students at Pine Trail Pioneers engaged with their new recess box.

This initiative marks a significant step in improving recreational activities in Volusia County elementary schools.
