Free Hazardous Waste Collection Day in Daytona Beach

The City of Daytona Beach will host a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday, November 2, from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. This event will take place at the Public Works Facility located at 950 Bellevue Ave. Residents can bring common hazardous household items for safe disposal at no charge.

To participate, individuals must provide proof of residency in Daytona Beach. Acceptable items for drop-off include fertilizers, solvents, batteries, anti-freeze, light bulbs, household chemicals, paint and paint thinners, propane tanks, pesticides, and pool chemicals.

Items that will not be accepted include fuel, gas cans, tires, and lawn equipment such as mowers and trimmers. Additionally, commercial hazardous waste is not allowed for disposal.
