"Lecture on Día de los Muertos This Thursday"

The Daytona Beach Campus of Daytona State College will host a lecture titled "Día de los Muertos: Art & Folklore" by Mariana Gómez Fosado on Thursday, October 31, at 1 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

The lecture will focus on the history and culture of the Day of the Dead, highlighting its importance in art. It will also feature works by Mexican photographer Juan Pablo Calvert Barba.

An Ofrenda Display will be available for viewing from October 31 through November 2.

The lecture will take place at the Madorsky Theater, located in the Hosseini Center, 1200 W. International Speedway Blvd., Daytona Beach, FL 32114.
