Daytona Beach Launches Hurricane Milton Relief Program

The City of Daytona Beach is launching a disaster relief program for residents and business owners affected by Hurricane Milton. Homeowners and renters can apply for grants of up to $9,000 to assist with expenses including insurance deductibles, home repairs, tree and debris removal, and temporary relocation costs.

Small businesses with fewer than 50 employees may receive grants up to $5,000 to help cover losses such as spoiled food, lost revenue, insurance deductibles, and repairs.

An informational meeting will be held on Monday, November 11, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Dickerson Community Center, located at 308 S. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. City staff will be available to discuss eligibility requirements, necessary documents, and the application process.
